As the days keep getting colder, it’s time to make sure your skincare routine has everything that you need in it. As the temperature drop so does the humidity, and we tend to be more dehydrated.
Here are a few tips:
💦 have a humidifier running in your room at night, cool mist is great year-round and warmest helps if someone in the room is sick, it kills bacteria and relieves chest congestion. Make sure you get a humidifier with an opening big enough so that you can clean it out.
💦 use a hydrating mist throughout the day. This will help add hydration back to the skin as we lose it. I prefer Glymed’s CBD mist and Hydrinity’s Hyacyn mist to balance, heal and hydrate.
💦 use a great quality hyaluronic acid. Epicutis Lipid serum is amazing, with minimal ingredients, this powerhouse serum helps to heal inflammation deep within the skin and restore your skins function. Hydrinity’s Renewing serum is a thick gel consistency that helps to combat dehydration, and inflammation as well as restoring plumpness to the skin.
💦Glymed’s Beauty Oil, if you don’t want to fully change your moisturizer during the winter months, you might be able to just add in this luxurious oil, it can be used on its own or mixed with your moisturizer and you can customize however, many drops you want for your needs. I do use Atraxi Peptide cream from Glymed and I add a drop of the beauty oil to it, especially at night.
